Every year the Chapel takes part in the National HOD festival of history and culture which celebrates our heritage and history.
Mansfield Old Meeting House opens its doors to the public each year in September as part of the festival, allowing visitors to explore the building's and the community`s rich history and features. It is a free, community-focused event with lectures, displays, music, food according to the topic of the year, offering a chance to everyone to learn about the OMH, about its connection to Mansfield and area and its part in the local and national heritage.
In 2024 the Chapel was chosen by the public to feature as a special place of interest nationally in the Heritage Open Days 30 year Anniversary Online Gallery.
